Sawyer has almost everything she’s wanted, and worked for all she has. Now it’s just a matter of staying afloat. A doctor who takes some of the longest shifts at the PICU, she’s determined to prove herself as competent, trustworthy and hardworking. But one odd night at the hospital manages to make her question her own sanity: sounds of scratching, skittering above her head, spots of blood on a patient’s sheets that came from nowhere, the noise of bones crunching from behind a locked door.
Now with an ever-present sense of danger looming over her head, it’s becoming harder and harder to keep everything in her life together. What if vital tools are stolen under her watch? What if a child goes missing? Or worse? Sawyer can’t shake the feeling that at one point or another, she’ll either have to face losing everything she’s worked for her whole life…or get her hands dirty in order to keep it. Demonic pacts probably aren’t so bad as they say, right?

Rupesh had his whole life ahead of him, until he played around with the wrong type of girl. That “type” being, devoted body and soul to the one true dark god: Chernobog. When she drew him down to the cellar of a school building under false pretenses, thinking his sacrifice would please the higher power, what neither of them expected was for him to be revived as a gray, ravenous, vampiric creature.
Colloquially known as "Stingy Jack" and eternally bonded to Chernobog as his servant for the past 12 years, he's grown cynical and fatigued of this half-life, and the senseless violence that comes with it. He tends to cut corners and skim for the easiest marks that will give him enough human flesh to sustain himself—only to sustain. Meat of the sickly and dying do the trick; he likes to believe he’s putting them out of their misery, and they taste no different to him. His strategy requires a certain lack of vigilance on the hospital’s end, though, and unfortunately he didn’t count on one of the most vigilant doctors in the county taking a night shift.
BnB is a project i'm trying to bring back to its roots as a collection of just hospital aesthetics and spooky night time pictures playing in my brain on a revolving baby mobile. Slash J i will make it into an actual story as you can see from the everything on this page, however my first rendition of Black & Blue that i published as a full story (my longest yet 0///0) strayed from the original vision i was granted by divine intervention, where Sawyer is already a working doctor and encounters Jack in a hospital wing at night. The first published BnB, like many of my stories I've revamped, feels now like a more juvenile version of that idea. I was also a baby and didn't know how adult things worked but what can you do, god forbid i soil my integrity as a wattpad creepypasta author ::crying emoji::
